Link Identity Platform¶
Document status
Version 8.0 · Status: Final · Owner: Link Platform Team · Audience: Link engineers building the platform
The authoritative reference for the Link Identity Platform — its functional requirements, architecture, data models, API specifications, and integration patterns. It is the foundation every other Link product consumes for authentication, palm verification, KYC, device management, multi-tenancy, and compliance. Implementation code is intentionally excluded; this captures the what and why, not the how.
How this is organized¶
A capability-first build guide grouped into six parts. Each capability reads end-to-end — concept → behavior → flows — with its sequence diagrams inlined and links into the reference lookups.
-
Part I · Orientation
What the platform is, the glossary, and the identity domains & access-control trust model.
-
Part II · Platform Foundations
The cross-cutting models every capability touches: multi-tenancy and the canonical data model.
-
Part III · Capabilities
Authentication, palm verification, device management (mTLS), the broker & linked services, compliance, and webhooks.
-
Part IV · Interfaces & Reference
User journeys plus the lookups — every endpoint, every error code, every event.
-
Part V · Build & Operate
Web console, integrator onboarding, deployment architecture, and backend repository structure.
-
Part VI · Appendix
Reference appendix and the full revision history.
